Take-Two and NBA extend partnership in $1.1bn deal
The National Basketball Association has extended its agreement with Take-Two Interactive, ensuring the NBA 2K series continue in the years into the future.
Sources tell The Wall Street Journal the sale will cost NBA Live Mobile Coins Take-Two around $1.1 billion, to become paid over seven years to your NBA as well as players' union.
This is reportedly dependant on a number of sales in the NBA 2K games, and Buy NBA Mobile Coins is particularly more than double previous licensing agreement stated in 2011.
Full terms of the offer have not been disclosed, but it's been confirmed as being a multi-year partnership that allows Take-Two to remain making the 2K series, plus every other NBA-branded titles for all those platforms, including mobile.
