  1. A follow-up to 2011's amazing Rayman Origins, Rayman Legends is at least equally, if not even more amazing. It is packed with intense platforming action and tons of content.

    Gameplay: 9/10

Rayman Legends includes over 100 diverse levels, ranging from classic Rayman platforming through flying on a mosquito to running for your life. Each level includes usually 10 Teensies to rescue, and these Teensies are used to unlock new levels and other content. Rescuing more Teensies and completing more worlds can increase your Awesomeness level, which in return unlocks challenges that you can play and win trophies out of.

In addition to the main story, Rayman Legends includes extra levels called Back to Origins. The Back to Origins levels are a nice throwback to the predecessor of Rayman Legends, and they are unlocked by winning the paintings out of scratching Lucky Tickets. (Speaking of the Lucky Tickets, those are unlocked by collecting enough Lums in a level.) Anyone who has played Rayman Origins will surely enjoy re-experiencing those levels.

I would otherwise give the gameplay a 10, but some of the levels are frustratingly hard.

    Visuals: 10/10

Powered by UbiArt Framework, Rayman Legends has beautiful, colorful high-definition graphics. What UbiArt Framework did not feature back in Rayman Origins was support for 3D models, and this new feature is implemented mainly in Rayman Legends' epic boss battles. And it's just generally a nice addition.

    Sound: 10/10

Funny sound effects and an awesome soundtrack. 'Nuff said.

    Replay value: 7/10

While replaying the levels and rescuing the missing Teensies is fun, there is literally so much content in Rayman Origins that it doesn't leave much else to replay and enjoy.

    Overall: 9/10
