Issue with dark oak

I chopped down some dark oaks that were world spawned and they came out named Acacia wood. I can't turn them into planks or anything.

if you are talking about those big dark oak forest, yes, they are named Acacia wood, with a dark oak texture, they just happen to not work for nothing

Thanks to the wonderful Mickket any logs like that can be dropped and when picked up should have the proper names and the ability to be made into planks.
