Ok , I just finished Elfen Lied A very sad , Heartwarming , AND VERY DISTURBING , Anime

And I thought ''Hey! Why not share some of the joys of anime! '' Thus this was born and you can talk about anything anime realated

like , Coventions that you went to , Least favriote chareters of anime ( Like Mariko from Elfen Lied ) , Or share videos ( Kinda why I put it here ) , And share them for others to enjoy. And on that note I end this with sharing the first episode of Elfen Lied ( The whole series is 13 parts ) ( NOTE : THIS ANIME IS VERY DISTURBING AND NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART AND IT HAS NUDITY )

I watched Elfen Lied a while back and I loved it. It was a great anime, obviously not the happiest of animes, but still a great anime. At the moment though I'm absolutely loving Gintama. Its so funny and takes the piss out of numerous other anime shows. You should give it a watch, even if it does have over 200 episodes ;)

Elfen Lied Was very dark . It has a great story line and good art style (even though it's outdated ) . Too much darkness and gore for my liking but it's a "Must watch" type of anime ^_^

Indeed Elfen Lied is. What got me in it was seeing ''Top ten saddest moments in anime '' And seeing Elfen Lied in a lot if them. And the anime just gets to the gore right from the very first second. And almost all the charecters have a sad backstory ( Like Mayu's for exsample ). Honestly This is one of my favriote animes so far.

I bought the manga version of this with my allowance. Then I found the anime, BEST ALLOWANCE SPENT ON A MANGA EVER.

Im not an Elfen Lied, but I LOVE anime. And I mean LOVE it. And by that I mean I LOVE Ciel Phantomhive, he is just like kawaii desu mixed with hottness.

But the main animes I watch is Soul Eater, ToraDora, Fruits Baskit, Black Butler, Hetalia, Pandora Hearts, Ouran Highschool Host Club, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and A LOT others. And I HATE watching animes in english dubs, it annoys me, I LOVE SUBS!!! But what I love is reading mangas that dont have an anime.

      You may not know this about me, but I am a dedicated metalhead. Why, you may ask? Please take the time to read this post as I give you three reasons why metal is my favorite music genre.
      1. A diverse range of subgenres. Death metal, thrash metal, black metal, symphonic metal, alternative metal, progressive metal... I could go on forever. Metal offers almost anything you could possibly desire, from calm and peaceful to brutally fast.
      2. Actually meaningful lyrics. For example, the following lyrics, written by Corey Taylor:
      "You're looking at an absolute zero / I'm not the devil, but I won't be your hero"
      Compare that to this:
      "Baby, baby, baby, ooohhh..."
      You see a difference? Even if this may not be true of all subgenres of metal, lyrics may reflect one's personal experiences or beliefs, and therefore you can even relate to them in a special way. Believe it or not, I've had my fair share of broken-heartedness, and I've heard songs that reflect my experiences with women, as well as written one myself.
      3. Some of the best musicians are/were metal musicians. Being a metal musician is all about talent. And not just thinking you have talent, but having actual talent. If you've listened to the works of the likes of Ronnie James Dio, Robb Flynn or Dave Mustaine, you'll know what I mean.
      And that concludes this post. Please bear in mind that I do not by any means intend to get you into listening to metal music, but if I did manage to catch your interest to get to know metal music better, feel free to do so. After all, it is solely my personal opinion.

      Rin ( The guy with Black hair ) ( Oh yeah SPOILER ALERTS )
      Is the son of Satan and is training to become an exorcist to avenge the exorcist who took care of him and his brother Yukio
      And Amaimon is the Earth king of Ghehenna ( The demon realm ) ( And also a son of satan so he's Rin's half brother ) and Amaimon kidnaps Shiemi ( The girl that Rin likes ) to bother him. ( He fake proposes marriage to Shiemi ) Thus Rin goes into his demon form ( And no one is supposed to know he's a demon ) And the reason why I like this so much because its one of those big reveal scenes. Also to get rin out of his demon form Shiemi hugs Rin ( D'AAAAWWWW! <3 Im a sucker for that stuff. )
