  1. Be more careful in the future. It's inadvisable to try & collect resources right next to someone's build for that reason. If someone asks you to leave their property, just leave. Thank you for the apology. I hope I don't have to deal with you in this context in the future. :)

  2. Astro- The first two pictures are from when I was called out by a player who was complaining about you & I personally witnessed you break glass in their underwater room. They told you to leave and you didn't.

The last picture is of my maze, which you griefed.

You have two strikes out of three. Any more incidents, and you are at risk of being permajailed. I recommend you read over our rules, if you have not already: http://www.abgn.net/rules

Griefing consists of harassment, theft, or damage to property that causes another player "grief."

  3. Thank you for the apology. Being rude to a mod is never a good idea, and you will remain muted for the duration of your sentence. Your grief caused the user a lot of trouble with all the lava and the stolen enchantment table & bookshelves. We take these incidents seriously. I am including my evidence screenshots for you, and since you do want to continue play on the server & have fun, I hope you will change your behavior after this.

  4. Got Games,

I am a bit surprised to have found these griefs by you, seeing as I have investigated griefs reported by you, so you know how it feels to be on the receiving end. Like I said, don't touch any blocks placed by another user on their property if you're not sure. The first 2 pictures are totally indisputable. You broke into a user's nether base and took all her crops. During the most recent grief, you built a 4x4 derp tower up to someone's castle in the sky and placed blocks up there. That's a mess they had to clean up, but also, if they're up in the sky and you had to place blocks to get there, they didn't exactly put out a welcome mat. This is your second offense, and I know you like playing on the server, so from now on, treat others' property as you'd like yours to be treated.

  5. Please to enjoy the comedic genius of Nick Frost, Simon Pegg, and Edgar Wright. I will never get tired of these videos:

  6. The more you know...

    Access Control Lists (ACLs)

Access Control List (ACL) are filters that enable you to control which routing updates or packets are permitted or denied in or out of a network. They are specifically used by network administrators to filter traffic and to provide extra security for their networks. This can be applied on routers (Cisco).

ACLs provide a powerful way to control traffic into and out of your network; this control can be as simple as permitting or denying network hosts or addresses. You can configure ACLs for all routed network protocols.

The most important reason to configure ACLs is to provide security for your network. However, ACLs can also be configured to control network traffic based on the TCP port being used.

    How ACLs work

A router acts as a packet filter when it forwards or denies packets according to filtering rules. As a Layer 3 device, a packet-filtering router uses rules to determine whether to permit or deny traffic based on source and destination IP addresses, source port and destination port, and the protocol of the packet. These rules are defined using access control lists or ACLs.

To simplify how ACL or a router uses packet filtering work, imagine a guard stationed at a locked door. The guard's instruction is to allow only people whose names appear on a guest list to pass through the door. The guard is filtering people based on the condition of having their names on the authorized list.

When a packet arrives at the router, the router extracts certain information from the packet header and makes decisions according to the filter rules as to whether the packet can pass through or be dropped. Packet filtering process works at the Network layer of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model, or the Internet layer of TCP/IP.

  7. It seems to be a glitch with the anti-Xray plugin. It's neat to see all the ores in glitched chunks, but would be really annoying in gameplay! Does it go away for you when you walk toward it? I saw this in my house, but it goes away if you walk toward it (same with invisible chests).

  8. As you may have noticed, you are in the jail cell-- you haven't been kicked from the server, and therefore, have not been banned. I told you your jail sentence would be over soon. I also told you 5 different times how to appeal. You'll have an easier time on the server if you LISTEN.

The reason you have been jailed is because this morning you griefed into a user's nether base and stole all her netherwart crops. We take this sort of incident seriously. Please take your punishment maturely, learn from it, and you will be back to playing very soon. Go and sin no more.

  9. This is my new soulmate, OrlaB-- so hands off, Tarquin! She's mine.

Aww, she even carries a red flower like me! Imitation is the sincerest

    form of flattery. ^.^

(Now there are two of us. Be afraid. Be very afraid).
