Another Server Reset?!

Honestly i would like to see a nice new map for the server.... But at the same time.... People that do not know of this situation willl rage very hard... I think its possible to have 2 maps per server... Maybe we could have 2 different worlds to move our stuff to the new world before the reset? its a suggestion that may not be condsidered, but i think it would be nice for people to have some of their stuff when/if the server restarts, i vote not to reset the server based on my opinion

please vote no for this reset to happen, there are alot of people who worked very hard on this server so far, people like me, ive only been playing for a couple weeks. i would love to keep everything i have, please say no to the reset, vote no.

Original I was for the reset but now Im not sure. I was not happy with some of my builds and I kinda do want another fresh start again with them or other builds, also I had such great fortune to have the server maze built near my town (Thanks Lazt!) and now have a beautiful view of someone's giant wood house right outside my town. Anyway I feel the server could still grow more and player could learn to trust each other better.

Im still on the fence about the reset but hopefully I'll make my choose soon or I wont have to cause one will up by like 10 votes, idk.

Just an incentive to make people accept the reset. Also, people who enter the capsule get moved to a new group, the "frozen" or something. Makes a list of people to keep files from and makes them not able to use commands to teleport.

We want people to pick fairly, we don't want to bribe players to pick one over the other. If the server resets, I think it's only fair everyone start on the same level. There's no fun in people having unfair advantages over others. ):

good idea, tarquin u hurd em, bring back lockers . im for a reset, yeah hours spent wasted on my village and the town i live in, yea months spent waiting for something to be finished built. walk outside spawn, walk outside any server build from lazt's race, to the grand prison... what do u see?? doors? chest? random blocks? old houses?.. on LD map 2 Arcania had a huge spawn protection which was nice, if i brought a friend on or shot a video 90% of peoples render distance really couldnt see the jungle ripped up.

Yes our builds will be gone, yes our money will be gone, and yes ur favorite animal in the farm u have as a pet will be gone, but think of it this way.

1. You know what u want to build and u know how its gonna look so build it again... but better

2. money is money im sure we will be able to sell cobble, sand, gravel

3. A whole new spawn of animals.. wolves, cows, pigs, chickens all of em back

and this is the last thing i wanna say and im done.. please if the map restarts dont iron and gold farms...

It may be a disadvantage or unfair, but for those who DON'T want this at all, they should be provided with the option to keep some items. People who DON'T want this are already at a disadvantage, being forced into a decision they really don't want. People people who want a reset can choose to not have items transfered over, by simply having nothing in their inventory upon reset, easily solution.

As I said in my previous post IF people really want to start over then do it..GO, disband your town, give away ALL your items...Start fresh, it really isn't any easier then that..

As for all the garbage lying around..Doors,chests, random junk..Maybe a bit of work can be done, by Tarquin, Abyssal's, mods to get rid of them, essentially that is what is going to happen anyway with a reset. Check to see who built it, placed it, see if they're banned or haven't been on in a reasonable amount of time and make a decision. If it's not in a town, and hasn't been touched in a while, it's a safe bet that it's been abandoned.

There ARE alternatives to this problems that would make both sides happy.

Maybe give Premiums, and Vips the option to store items safely in their house in Massilia and transfer that over.

Also, my opinion on the reset: I don't want it, mainly because being 'bored' for me just means I need to find a new building project, not start over entirely.

And for the people who have just joined in the past few weeks wouldn't it be better to reset now and start fresh, then lose everything you worked on when the next reset happens? I do understand that this wouldn't apply to people who have been here since the last reset but idk.

If the map does reset I hope theres a tax for the town instead of just t spawning all the time, I really feel that in the 2nd map the Stress was High but to the point where it was fun. And so I am really looking forward to a map change.

I highly agree with your statement....like I said about the second map and the third map it wasn't as promising because of the fact that the tax was gone so you had no stress on checking the town and such.
